Transforming Your Smile
Many patients come to us wanting to change the look of their teeth. Whether you are looking to target a specific problem or want a full-mouth restoration, we offer cosmetic dental services to address a wide range of issues.
Unlike preventive or restorative dental care, which focus on oral hygiene and treating conditions, the primary goal of cosmetic services is to improve the physical appearance of your teeth.
Selecting the right treatment will depend on your concern. For instance, if you feel your teeth are dull or stained, teeth whitening might be right for you. If you have chipped or cracked teeth, our dentists may recommend veneers.
A healthy, aesthetically pleasing smile is within reach. Request a consultation with our dentists at Northgate Dental Clinic today to discuss your smile goals.
Teeth Whitening
Professional teeth whitening at your dentist's office is a safe and effective way to fade stains and brighten your smile. The teeth whitening products we use are peroxide-based and designed to provide quick and efficient results. We offer take-home treatment options that can help you achieve a healthy-looking, whiter smile on a schedule that suits you.
Veneers & Lumineers
Veneers are strong, thin pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the front of your teeth to change their colour or shape. Our dentists often apply veneers to address teeth with uneven surfaces or ones that are chipped or discoloured. Lumineers® are thinner than standard veneers and require minimal removal of the natural tooth structure.
Dental Bonding
Bonding is often used to repair decayed, chipped or broken teeth. In some cases, it can even be used to reduce gaps between teeth. To apply bonding to your teeth, your dentist will mix composite resin into a paste and then tint it to match your natural teeth. They will apply this mixture to your teeth in layers. Each layer is hardened under ultraviolet (UV) light. Once the bonding is applied and set, your dentist will shape and polish the bonded tooth until it looks natural and feels smooth.
Full-Mouth Restoration
You may be dealing with multiple dental issues at once that affect your smile's health and appearance. If that's the case, we'll develop a full-mouth restoration plan that can combine services in a logical order for efficient implementation and a cohesive overall result. By combining restorative dental procedures, such as bridges, crowns and dental implants with cosmetic ones, our dentist at Northgate Dental Clinic can help you achieve a healthy smile you'll be proud to show off.
