Your Initial Visit to Our Clinic
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient form. We also offer a downloadable form that you can print and complete to bring to your appointment.
Initial Examination
During your first visit to our clinic, the dentist will review and discuss your dental history before completing a thorough examination. Your exam will include an evaluation of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any required X-rays.
Treatment Plan
Your dentist will use the examination results and the information you provided about your oral health to develop your dental treatment plan. You can also use this time to ask any questions about your dental health and treatment options.
Insurance & Payment Information
At Northgate Dental Clinic, we'll help you navigate our options for payment and insurance so you can focus on achieving your dental goals.
Insurance Claims
There are two options for billing insurance for dental care: reimbursement and direct billing.
For reimbursement, you pay in full, and then we provide you with the forms and paperwork to submit an insurance claim yourself. Patients usually find that they are reimbursed within a few days.
With direct billing, we would submit the amount owing to your insurance company for payment, and you would be responsible for any balance not covered by your plan.
Payment Methods
We ask that you pay the full treatment cost at the end of your appointment. We accept payment by debit or most major credit cards.
Support for Anxious Patients
Don't let anxiety or dental fear get in the way of receiving the care you need for lifelong oral health.
At Northgate Dental Clinic, our team offers support for you during your appointment. This includes oral sedation to help you relax while receiving treatment, ongoing communication and letting you take breaks when needed.
Our goal is to help you feel comfortable every time you visit.

Missed Appointment Policy
Our commitment at Northgate Dental Clinic is to provide exceptional dental care to our patients while respecting the time and schedules of both our providers and fellow patients. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, making it necessary for you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure the smooth operation of our practice and to accommodate the needs of all our patients, we have established the following Missed Appointment Policy.
Appointment Cancellation Notice:
When you schedule an appointment, you reserve a valuable slot on our calendar that is no longer available to other patients. To show consideration for your fellow patients, please notify us as soon as you become aware that you won't be able to make your appointment.
If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice. Your early notification will allow us to offer the vacant slot to another patient in need of dental care.
How to Cancel Your Appointment:
To cancel your appointment, please contact us at (306) 775-2767 during our regular business hours. If it is after hours, please leave a detailed voicemail message, and we will return your call, or email us at and we will get back to you.
Late Cancellations/No-Shows Fee:
A cancellation is deemed late when it occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without prior cancellation. Once an appointment has been made, a room is reserved specifically for you and the dentist/dental hygienist’s time is set aside. Please be considerate of other patients and our clinic.
